THE LIFE OF THE MIND

We live in our minds -
That, we eventually find!

Self must abandon
Its throne,
If we are
To be known,
As only God can know us.

Pure love and care
Can be ours,
Thru all life’s hours -
If we follow Jesus’ Way
‘Til the end
Of our days.

COLD OLD LADY

Not fun to be old
But to be
Old and cold,
So really sad -
Not the least bit “rad”.
Make you feel “shrively” -
All shriveled up -
Like an used paper cup!

Old pains reappear -
Along with fear -
Only Jesus’ Way -
Can save the day - or night!
He helps you thru -
“Jesus is Victor” -
Corrie said it true!
