HEAVEN IS A REAL PLACE

Heaven is a real place
Where they love your face
And are busy making a place
‘Specially for you
At the end of your race.

Jesus is waiting for you
With a wonderful place -
A mansion with plenty of space.

He has your loved ones
Waiting to see
Your dear face.

So keep on Jesus’ way

DYING AT HOME

Dying at home
Can be simple -
If we let it be so!

All that is needed (if bedridden),
Is a little tender care,
And to be kept reasonably clean -
And a sip of water or food
Here and there.

Often turned,
And a light massage,
And talked to gently.
Then all pain must be covered -
To keep one sane.

For the dying Christian,
Favorite scriptures read
Will show the Way Home.

Perfect Love cast
Out fear -
Jesus and God and the Holy Spirit -
Will be near their dear!!

I WOKE UP ON MONDAY

I woke up on Monday -
Here I am another day,
Instead of home with Jesus,
As last night I did pray.
To go home in my sleep,
Is my heart’s desire,
But still I stay -
Oh, God, show me the way.
