A TRUE MAN

A true man
Does not live
And die a boy!
He’s never a toy –
But tempered by God
Like a steel rod,
To stand and be strong
No matter how long
Or rough life’s terrain!

A true man
Leans only on God
And keeps slogging through
Life’s storm and rain.

Then this true man
Blesses everyone
Under the sun,
‘Til home to God he comes,
Having won life’s race.

I just found your blog. This poem "rings true.' May the Lord continue to bless and use you.

Take a look at some of the poems on my blog. Maybe you'll like them also.
