DYING AT HOME

Dying at home
Can be simple -
If we let it be so!

All that is needed (if bedridden),
Is a little tender care,
And to be kept reasonably clean -
And a sip of water or food
Here and there.

Often turned,
And a light massage,
And talked to gently.
Then all pain must be covered -
To keep one sane.

For the dying Christian,
Favorite scriptures read
Will show the Way Home.

Perfect Love cast
Out fear -
Jesus and God and the Holy Spirit -
Will be near their dear!!
