EMPTY PLATITUDES ARE BORING

Empty platitudes are boring!
I have always hated
The word “boring”
Because dear unknowing children
Have had great fun
Announcing to feckless
Parents: “THAT’S BOOOORING”!

God’s marvelously constructed
World is EXCITING - NEVER “boring” -
Children need
To hear that from some
Responsible, caring adults
(Preferably their parents
If they are so fortunate
To have them).

So empty platitudes ARE
Boring because they are a bunch
Of hot air saying nothing
Helpful for life.
They are just a monstrosity
Chuck full of pomposity.
