I should give lessons
On how to die at home.
So I’ll try to do
It in a poem.
My qualifications are rare
So let me now share:
I’m an 84 yr. old 3rd generation RN,
Like an old mother hen -
Clucking to her chix -
On what needs to be fixed,
If you want to die at home.
First of all pray a lot
To find honest Christian help,
When helpless you get.
Someone who will care -
And not use or abuse,
And your burdens to share.
Then trust Jesus and God all the way
Day by day.
